Liz Kessler is a writer and community organizer with non-verbal learning disorder and multiple chronic illnesses.
Liz is also an amateur musician, a gardener, and nonprofit communications and fundraising professional. She studied political science and women’s studies at the University of Ottawa where she served as Vice President, University Affairs at the Student Federation of the University of Ottawa and she worked as an organizer for the Student Christian Movement of Canada. Her work has been published on everydayfeminism.com and on rabble.ca.
Liz has worked on campaigns around mental health, disability, climate justice and student poverty. She has more than 12 years experience as a community organizer and in advocating for accommodations for disability in education and in the workplace.
